The every day major requirements of improving the productivity and the quality, as way of reducing the costs and of be imposing on a market increasingly competitivly, do imperative that the companies concentrate their attention in the need to incorporate new procedures of work orientated to organizing the general documentation and specifically that one of technical character. This product offers a real environment of work in group and of cooperation in the company.

The companies of engineering, construction, transformation, etc. They generate and support all their productive processes with technical, mercantile documentation, etc. That will have to share the different departments of the company. All this documentation in which the production of the company is sustained, constitutes the major patrimony of the same one. As response to this current need, Rastertech España has developed a software of Management for technical documentation and of work in group.

 The information is organized according to the specific requirements of every company. To search and locate any document in an easy and intuitive form, there exists a procedure of Assisted Search and other one of Query By Example with multiple relational operators to establish the criteria of search. The system being allowed to parametrize for queries been realized from external programs.

One of the most important characteristics for a Document Management System is to allowi the visualization of any document and the obtaining of printed copies, without need to resort to the native software that generated it, but with the same capacities that this. This way, TPlan Viewer® (viewing module of TPlan Manager® ) supports multiple formats of documents: vector 2D and 3D, ráster B/W and color, office computer, etc. Incorporating simultaneously diverse tools to operate with the image on screen, as: zoom, pan, mirror, change of screen background, layers, files of external reference, etc. Also it will allow you to measure lines and polylines, WYSIWYG preview, adjustment of margins, of scale, fit to paper(role), to stamp(print) the whole document or only a detail of the same one, to stamp(print) only selected paper, print the whole document or only a detail of the same one, print only selected layers, to use configurations of pens for AutoCAD®'s drawings, etc.

When printing documents, it is possible to establish the overprint of a predetermined text, as for example: " controlled Copy produced by[user's name] in date [dd/mm/aa] ", with specified format and position.

This functionality contributes to a still major degree in security on documents since every printed copy will be able to include a stamp on the document with specified information as: date, hour, machine... where it has been generated, etc. With this, a document will have a certain validity and so, be used only by the purpose for the one that has been printed, as it is specified for example in ISO Quality regulations.

Access to the archive is restricted to authorized and identified users by means of password. It is posible to define different user profiles and different user groups, with different levels of work permision that enable to: only query, obtaining printed copies, export to external programs for editing purposes, query and viewing of “red-line”. 

It is made possible to create official notices with predetermined contents, that will take place of automatic form as a result of certain chosen actions and they will be transmitted by the electronic mail to adressees also predetermined. For example, you can receive a customized message of mail whenever some user makes a revision of some file, whenever the associated data are modified, whenever a file registers, ...

T-Plan Manager® at any moment guarantees the filed document integrity. When an authorized user to publish documents, must make a modification, exports the document in screen of automatic form to any program where he can publish it and whenever he does it, he will control the new versions that take place, maintaining an historical one of the same ones.

One of the main characteristics of T-Plan Manager® is that it does not need programming on the part of the user. In each case, a data modeling is designed and the Tool of Administration explores it, adapting the views and consultations.

However, sometimes it is necessary to obtain a level of personalización superior to which offers the standard solution. For example, you will be able to integrate the System of Document Management with other active systems in your company or to make CAD massive document indexings, being read attributes stored in the own files.
